High Cholesterol Thyroid
Many people may not now that there may what experts call the high cholesterol thyroid connection. In fact, millions of people who have high levels of cholesterol may not realize that those may be a result of thyroid ailments that may have been undiagnosed hence, the term high cholesterol thyroid may be appropriate.
Most people with high cholesterol levels may not even be aware of this high cholesterol thyroid connection and may not even undergo testing to find out if they have thyroid disease. Studies even show that around 90 percent of the samples (people with high cholesterol) do not even know that there is such a thing as high cholesterol thyroid, or that thyroid problems and high cholesterol are related.

One way to prove if high cholesterol thyroid may be present is to undergo thyroid testing. You may first find out if you may have symptoms of a thyroid disease by performing a home test, one that may be found over the net.
This usually just requires answering questions and coming up with a checklist of symptoms you may be experiencing to check if they are the same as the list of thyroid disease symptoms. You may then ask your physician for a Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test to be able to diagnose high cholesterol thyroid properly and accurately.
The high cholesterol thyroid connection should not be ignored. It is recommended that people who have elevated cholesterol levels undergo thyroid testing to see if their high cholesterol may also be caused by having thyroid problems.
